3 Years 

This Course Covers: 

  • Roles and Responsibilities of a First Aider- to include Kits and reporting

  • Primary Survey

  • Basic life support (CPR & AED)

  • Secondary Survey

  • Recovery position

  • Choking

  • Shock

  • Wounds and bleeding 

  • Diagnosis and treatment of major illnesses such as: anaphylactic shock, heart attack, stroke, seizures, diabetic emergencies and asthma

  • Head Injuries

  • Burns and Scalds

  • Bones, joints and muscle injuries

  • Poisons

  • Eye Injuries

Paediatric First Aid

Length of Course:

6 Hours 

How Long My 

Qualification Lasts:

3 Years 

This Course Covers: 

6 Hour Course

  • What does the course cover?
    The Emergency Paediatric First Aid course (1 day) covers:

  • Roles and responsibilities, to include First Aid Kits and reporting

  • Primary Survey

  • Baby and child resuscitation (CPR)

  • Recovery position

  • Baby and child choking

  • Shock

  • Wounds and bleeding

Basic Life Support

Length of Course:

6 Hours 

How Long My 

Qualification Lasts:

3 Years 

This Course Covers: 

  • Roles and responsibilities, to include First Aid Kits and reporting

  • Primary Survey

  • Baby and child resuscitation (CPR)

  • Recovery position

  • Baby and child choking

  • Shock

  • Wounds and bleeding

Emergency First Aid at Work

Length of Course:

1 Day

How Long My 

Qualification Lasts:

3 Years 

This Course Covers: 

  • Roles and Responsibilities, to include First Aid kits and Reporting

  • Primary Survey

  • Resuscitation (CPR & AED)

  • Recovery position

  • A choking casualty

  • Shock

  • Types of minor wounds and bleeding

  • Minor burns

F.A.W Re-Qualification

Length of Course:

2 Days

This course is only for those who have previously undertaken a full First Aid at work course will need to re-qualify within 3 years to continue as a first aider
